  1. "Bronze Age"? Judeo/Christian values have evolved significantly over 3,500 years, to say otherwise is to be ignorant of history, from Maimonides to Spinoza, from Augustine to Aquinas.

  3.  @Mongoose-ct6us  The solution to this state of affairs, Spinoza believes, is to examine the Bible anew and find the doctrines of the “true religion”. Only then will we be able to delimit exactly what we need to do to show proper respect for God and obtain blessedness.

  4.  @Mongoose-ct6us  Judeo-Christian adjective of or relating to the religious writings, beliefs, values, or traditions held in common by Judaism and Christianity. No question its usage is in some contexts controversial, but not how I used it. As a Jew, I don't find it offensive.

  6.  @Mongoose-ct6us  Islam is not rooted in a Bronze Age blood myth, it is more closely related to pre-Islamic religion of the Tree and Rock. Their "House of G_d" is the Kaaba in Mecca. Jerusalem is not even mentioned in the Qur'an.
