  1. None of the forest or dams had anything to do with Pacific Palisades fire. None of those mitigations would have worked in the Santa Monica Mountains, only made them worse for erosion when the rains did come. Mitigation would have been new tech for Eaves and Vents that close or stop embers entering crawl spaces of these mostly ranch style homes. Fire Hydrants are not designed to fight fires like this. If you have a street of 20 homes and open up 10 hydrants at the same time, there will be very little pressure to use on a house fire. So much ignorance, much willful, being used only for political reasons.
