@DieFlabbergast Agreed, but I'd say the forfeit started earlier, but in earnest in November 1947 when fighting 1st broke out after the UN resolution voted for partition. The Arabs made it clear in a report to Churchill in 1921 no Jewish majority state would be tolerated in the region. The report makes a promise of terror and death. They've kept their promise.
