  1.  @Circuses  Palestine was never a "country" in modern terms of nation/states, but some Arabs did refer to themselves as Palestinians. The UK did create a Palestinian state, it's called Jordan.

  6. Trans-Jordan was meant to be that, but the Jordanians ended up with a theocracy, and apartheid state. One state is not practical.
