  1. As someone who presents "White", and who at 15 had a Black Step-Father (1970), I have no sense of what "White" people feel in this regard, but have been given a label by both sides. One side calls me a racist, the other an apologetic "White". But I'm really a non-secular Jew who can feel the historic taste and smell of Fascism coming from both sides. With the coming of the Jewish New Year, I've constructed a 16" Yellow Star Of David to place in my window. Both as a symbol of the Shoah, and as "David's Shield" against it's contemporary reemergence. l'shanah tovah
