  2.  @theresamc4578  Speculation, many of the cast of that show had deep personal issues. Robert Young was an alcoholic and Billy Gray on drugs. Nothing like that on "Leave it to Beaver" and Ron Howard has only positive things to say about his child acting, his father was great, but his little brother had problems, so environment isn't the whole story.
