  1. I disagree, having gone to school in the mid-century model in Los Angeles during the 1960s which were designed for Aerospace workers and white color jobs, not factories. In 1968 I was in a classroom of a 150 boys and girls learning the very QWERTY typing method I'm using right now to type this out, it has provided me employment for over 55 years. It also did a very poor job of preparing us to be soldiers in a war, a good many of us rebelled against it.
