  1. My friend was picked up and taken to Los Angeles County Jail in 1973, we were both 18. My friend's mother told me a night in jail would do him good. I told her what might happened to her pretty, blonde surfer son at LA County Jail. We rushed downtown to bail him out, got there just before the dinner call in time to pay the bail. My friend never looked more scared in his life "Mom, they were playing poker, and I was the pot". I'm about to turn 70 and this is one of my most vivid memories of youth; true story.

  3. RFK Jr was a heroin addict at 30, convicted of Felony possession, after probation his conviction was expunged; he can technically say he is not a felon. A pardon does not allow you to say no felony or conviction, just that it was pardoned. FYI
