  1. Trump refers to himself as a "Popularist", not a populist, which Steve Bannon reports came out in direct conversation with Trump. Trump had no idea what a "populist" was, or is.

  2. Wow, he just ran past the "Farmer's Alliance", these WERE NOT Worker's Unions, but farmer cooperatives, and he did not even mention William Jennings Bryan. FDR crushed the populist movements of the 1930's in California and Louisiana. Richard Hofstadter was a card-carrying COMMIE in the 1930's.
