The Ottomans would not sign on to the Westphalian Peace agreements, an issue we are living with today in the old Levant. @DhiaFraj92 The proposed 2 states came out in 1922, not after WW2. The leader of the Palestinians, Haj Amin al-Husseini, was part of the 3rd Reich and led a Bosnian Muslim SS Brigade in WW2. Those Jews who fled the Russian Empire are not the majority in Israel, only about 34%. 21% of Israel is Arab.

Father of the Lie: Haj Amin al-Husseini The claim that the Jews were scheming to destroy the Al-Aksa and rebuild the Temple, was started by Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini.

Egypt was the only country after WW2 to welcome a Nazi leader and give him sanctuary, Haj Amin al-Husseini, friend of both Hitler and Eichmann. Husseini contributed to the Nazi war effort by setting up Bosnian Muslim battalions that were attached to the Waffen-SS. These soldiers fought Partisans in Bosnia and massacred civilians there. Husseini also tried to convince the Axis authorities to bomb Tel Aviv, and to extend the "Final Solution" to the Jews in North Africa and Palestine. When he was informed of various Nazi plans to exchange Jewish lives for goods or large sums of money, he strenuously lobbied against them. After the war, Husseini was arrested in France, but he escaped and found refuge in Egypt. He continued to be active in Arab matters until his death.
