We have three equal branches in a federal system made up of a multi-cultural, diverse population living in semi-autonomous states legally bound together by a Constitution that is intact and fully functional. Hamas did not win a majority and shared power with Fatah/PA. On 14 June 2007 Hamas mounted a military coup and took over Gaza, building it out into a military platform to destroy Israel. You are entitled to your own opinion, but not entitled to your own facts.
