To obtain an H-1B visa, she needed to show that she had sustained national or international acclaim. Melania's successful modeling career, including appearances in major fashion magazines and runway shows, likely contributed to her meeting these criteria. You may disagree she qualified, but are you saying Trump in 1996 had anything to do with her getting an H-1B visa?

  6. There's no question, Melanie had a sponsored H-1B visa in 1996 which could be extended by 6 years or more, she then earned an EB-1 visa in 2001 before marrying Trump and becoming a US citizen in 2006, a decade after her first legal residence. No need to question it, all well documented.

Why the big deal over a couple of months? It is illegal to work for money on a tourist visa, but it is not illegal to due business, just take money. I'd need more facts.
