Even the New York Times poll shows the shift to Trump among educated and Hispanics. DW may have done a bad job showing it, but it is a fact. Trump support is growing in Black community, too. If he only gets 20% of the Black Male vote he wins. 2024 is about perhaps 250,000 votes in swing states. Right now, it's advantage Trump. DW is correct about that.

Trump is working toward more refineries and pipeline distribution which will lower energy prices in the US and allow more export of refined product.

@hhKJgf1M8a0rzt8hP I'm no troll, live in the one-party Woke theocracy of California and will vote for Trump. Come visit my city in California and understand why so many don't want our policies in their cities.
5
I was in California during Trump's first term, my retirement account increased by 220%, unemployment was under 5% and home loan interest rates were under 4%, inflation was flat. Good times, hope to get them back. Nancy Pelosi tore up Trump's State of the Union address while saying Covid wasn't a big issue. You have it backwards.

Pending charges are politically motivated and falling apart. Trump's comments about Putin are strategic, you don't understand the art of negotiation. You don't offend a powerful competitor before entering into a negotiation, you do the opposite, which is what Trump is doing.
3
Yes, but I imagine I'll be the only one to upvote your comment, which is strongly based in rigorous documentation and recent polling by both USA Today and the New York Times. If Trump only gets 5% more of that Black and Latino vote he wins in 2024. Arizona and Georgia.

production but not refinement. We need to refine more and export, exactly what he was talking about.

I'm also "old timey" living in California, see the reality on the ground, where woke policies are not helping the people you wish to help. I have no desire to go "backwards", but as I face crime and dysfunction everyday, the lowering of educational standards in schools, the level of fear and anxiety in children, it's apparent the 1960s hippie framework for Utopia is a failed experiment. There's a group of skyscrapers in Los Angeles now covered in Graffiti which some "old hippies" believe is a work of art, "a gift to the city". It is not, and no amount of mushrooms will make it so.

:hand-pink-waving: Trump 2024

you must not do much business in the Real Estate sector. I do, full of liars who enjoy the game. Trump's lenders love him, and even the ones he supposedly defrauded would loan him money again, it's how the game works.
2
That's your weak mindedness, not Americas

You make good points, but his silence is strategic, the issue in Ukraine is foremost on Trump's agenda, but better not to telegraph the move. Hang in there with Trump.

@embracedmadness I'm in California, the supply of refined gas has the greatest effect on our prices, especially the summer blend. California's Oil Refineries Because more than 90 percent of the gasoline consumed in California comes from in-state refineries, significant unplanned refinery outages contribute to increases in the price at the pump. The state's 14 oil refineries are in the Bay Area, Central Valley, and Los Angeles.
1
@embracedmadness Trump is not president. he isn't giving tax breaks to oil, and that's not the issue, anyway, he can't, he's a candidate, not president.

My California is still moving left into a theocracy of Woke, but our governor is jumping around trying to stem the homeless and crime issues while maintaining his religious position as a woke leader. It's ugly to watch.
1
The glass mirror, more so, lots written about that: https://www.press.uchicago.edu/Misc/Chicago/500284.html

@ep4115 In California religious freedoms are at stake, Covid closed churches when bars were allowed to remain open. California state legislator is a one-party theocracy of the Woke. They hate Christian values, and strike them from the school curriculum and why so many Christians homeschool .
1
Then why are Blacks and Latinos moving toward Trump, even the New York Times recent poll shows that. Even if only 5% move toward Trump in 2024 he wins. I'm no WASP and will vote Trump in 2024

21:14 Columbus in his diaries spoke of using the fortune from his discovery to finance a Crusade to retake Jerusalem. He saw himself as a modern day David who would rebuild the temple and make way for G_d's return. So sorry this well down documentary perpetuates the post-modern myth of Columbus.

I'm a registered Democrat in California, been politically active since the early 1970s. I agree with Trump's policies, especially how he handled international issues. I also like his anti-political correctness, he lies, but they are transparent lies with a wink and a nod. I can see Trump for what he is. Biden is a Sphinx who speaks and acts as he's told. Trump 2024.

75 million voters are not singular, not a cult.

@tamarausher60 Vermeer in the Baroque period, 100+ years later.

Trump does not want to end abortion, he's on record for the European standard of 12-15 weeks. Why lie about Trump's stand on abortion?
1
@unicornopia Sure, but again, Trump is not for ending abortion, he's made that clear. It's a State issue, but Trump is not against a Federal law, one that is a compromise between 0 months and 9+ months. If you are a 0 month person, Trump is a compromise vote, for the 9+ people, they are not for any compromise. I'm for Trump's position, and a registered Democrat in California.
1
Arizona, Georgia, and either Wisconsin or Michigan and Trump wins, 2024 pivots on about 250,000 votes in swing states, with Black voters moving to Trump, Biden loses.
1
I live in the one-party State of California which is now a theocracy of Woke ideology. Visit our California cities and you will understand the vote for Trump.
1
What does that even mean. MAGA base, how you define it, will win in 2024.
1
Like Harry Truman or GW Bush?
1
"Hilarious"? No, that's our political system, and has been since the beginning. Do you think Jefferson and Franklin were religious? Jefferson even wrote his own version of the bible.
