  3. This is not a "proxy" war when it borders EU and NATO countries. Ukraine is not Vietnam or Afghanistan. You know history, imagine Germans soldiers marching across Poland to Russian territory, this IS again direct conflict, and it HAS begun.

  5.  @Dean4511  I totally agree with your facts and assumptions. WW3 is not Putin's intention. Ukraine was moving toward the West, human rights for women and homosexuals, this deeply troubles him, he may actually believe in his "heart" he's saving his country from an evil virus from the West, like the one he believes was released by China to his East. The Chinese are also moving to areas of Eastern Russia, Putin's economy is now no bigger than Italy or Spain, he's acting more like a martyr than a leader. Anything can happen at this point.
