2014 Russia had leases in Crimea, they were there, so no "invasion". We are all being gaslit by both sides of media, left and right.

@doneB830 Yes, there's a civil war in Ukraine, a real culture split between West/East which is not being shown. I wish people would just look at a map, perhaps they'd better understand.

Sergei didn't tell you his country is just as split as ours and in the middle of a civil war, West/East, and being played by the EU and Putin. He needs to resolve issues within his own country and remain a buffer between the EU and Russia. Look at a map.

Yes, it is a civil war, look at the demographics east/west, and the West is fooling Western Ukrainians in thinking we are going to help them. We are not. They need to resolve their own internal issues, and in doing so, remain a buffer between the EU and Russia, then there will be peace, not before then.

Yes, it's a civil conflict, there's data to prove it, and specifically about NATO, a split between West/East. You've taken a partisan position, I understand, and want your former country to be part of the EU with no Russian influence. My fellow Americans are ignorant of these facts.
