CRT is a framework for teaching, not a history course, and it's methodology permeates all courses, including math, stating math is also systemically racist by design. EQUITY = INCOMPETENCE

@Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0000 Exactly opposite is true. CRT is based on "Critical Theory", and is only one flavor of "theory" used to deconstruct, or "unpack" belief systems, another is CGT, with gender instead of race . CRT is designed to "unpack" systemic racism, and is more than a "subject" taught in a course. The American Medical Association just issued it's CRT and Equity statement for its members. It's an ideology, almost a religion at this point. Search on: American Medical Association, "Advancing Health Equity" The American Medical Association has introduced a CRT language....

@willcresson8776 California has proposed a "New Math Framework" riddled with "Equity" and CRT, stating outcomes prove the current framework is racist. Scientists and mathematicians started a petition against it, most likely too late. California is 44th in math competence among the states, so they will lower standards using "equity" as a rational.

@ultramaga4075 Zero is an abstraction that has created some problems with quantum physicists, and me, too.

@bakonfater4000 thanks, corrected, i never try to ignore my mistakes, or double down on them.

@willcresson8776 I corrected the mistake, I'm good with it, we should admit to mistakes, not double down on them.

@ultramaga4075 necessary, but abstract as a dividing point, because both the negative and positive values, on say a number line, are infinite, never actually reaching zero. Zero does not exist as a real value, only as an abstract dividing point. It's a problem.

@justinslaight yes, teaching kids "grandma is a racist" will have consequences at the kitchen table.

@ultramaga4075 Yes, I'm no mathematician, but it seems the "boundary" value of zero can be a problem.

@ultramaga4075 perhaps not your bank account, but could be an issue with the IRR of an investment, depending how many places you want to take it out to.
