  2. That's not the issue here in SoCal. We have hillsides that cannot be cleared out because of rain/erosion. Fire Breaks don't work because we have narrow/steep canyons, embers travel a mile and jump one side to the other. We have local brush clearance codes but homeowners often ignore them. We also don't have "Fire Hawks" like you do, birds that actually spread the fire once it's started. What we have are domestic terror arson and power lines that spark in high winds.

The Encino Reservoir was also used in the fire, it holds 1.6 billion gallons. Santa Ynez was offline, a small tank of only 117 million gallons. Why lie?
