Why? She's qualified?

She was in Law School and the Harvard Review with Ted Cruz, that's how.

Sub if you are against Antifa and BLM it was a "gotcha" question she did a bad job replying to.

@gianlucarossi5672 it was a "gotcha" question she did not handle well. I don't support her nomination, and she did a bad job fielding that question, but based on the Constitution, she is qualified, and it is up to the Senate to confirm. That's the brute fact.

@conjam86 that was not the question. perhaps that is what should have been asked, if she could not have answered that question, I'd be with you.

@wademitchell3817 Silly is not helpful.

@gianlucarossi5672 She's not my choice, but those on both sides who are so distorted by emotion they no longer see what's real an true, there's nothing left to say, and only war is the outcome. You are backing yourself into a corner. Jackson is the result of 30 years of reality, that momentum cannot be turned around in a day, that's fantasy.

@miguelorobitg2040 The Constitution does not specify qualifications for Justices such as age, education, profession, or native-born citizenship. A Justice does not have to be a lawyer or a law school graduate.

Ronald Reagan made a speech limiting his choice to a woman, Sandra Day O'Conner. Sandra openly retorted her choice was a result of affirmative action. Levin and Cruz make the discussion worse, not better.

It's still 6-3 and the court rarely hears cases involving jail time for criminals, nonsense.

Jackson is a devout Christian?

Ronald Reagan made a speech limiting his choice to a woman and then nominated O'Conner who had never been on a Federal Bench. Double Standard? Facts don't matter to both extremes who do not value rational thought or discourse.
1
It was a "gotcha" question she did not do well in answering.

@Hypocrisywatch1 Both are pathological liars, but I'd vote for Trump, not Cruz. Trump "winks" when he lies, Cruz believes he is not lying, big difference.
