LA County stored 100 billion of gallons of Storm Water Runoff 2022/23. Why lie?

Hydrants have water but you can't open up a dozen or more on a single line and have pressure, especially going up hill.

No forest in Pacific Palisades. Large fire breaks cause erosion issues, need to be balanced. Jesse Waters lied about LA County storm runoff. we collected record amounts in 2022/23, enough for 2 million homes for a year.

@jamesgoode9246 Supply was not the issue, hydrants are not designed to fight brush fires, but structure fires one or two at a time. When you open up a dozen hydrants on the same line you lose pressure. That's what happened. My comment about the storm runoff was a counter to claims that Newsom allowed it to run into the Ocean. That's incorrect, and even more, local counties have the responsibility, less the State. I turned away from MSM because of the barrage of coordinated lies told about Trump. I'm frustrated and angry to see the new media coordinating in the same way against Newsom. I didn't vote for him, signed the recall, but he's not responsible for these fires. The People of Los Angeles are, we as a community were not prepared, did not do the work. Same will happen with next big earthquake.

@jamesgoode9246 ? I've lived in these hills all my life, hike and bike the fire trails and breaks, the topography and growing zone is extremely arid and in high winds embers travel up to a mile. I can see your suggestion being a mitigating factor but those embers fly into and under eaves and get into vents, then the crawl spaces. This is well-known, and companies have products that keep that from happening. Vulcan Vents and WFCA Ember Resistant Vents

Altadena, CA is not "super rich", it is a historically African American neighborhood built during the Jim Crow years. Easy to fact check that.

not no water, no water pressure, very different.

That's Northern California, nothing to do with water supply to fight fires in SoCal

We did this to ourselves, regardless of party, the areas were going to burn and we did not prepare.

Pacific Palisades is a small neighborhood of 24,000 in a county 5,000 square miles and population of 9 million. Perspective.

In the 2023 storm season, Los Angeles County captured 96.3 billion gallons of stormwater. This is enough water to supply about 2.4 million people for a year. Jesse didn't tell a direct lie, just that LA County collects less than Northern California which gets heavy rainfall every year. Los Angeles is expanding and constructing many storage areas for runoff, and Newsom cut red tape during Storms to allow the water to recharge aquafers . You people say MSM lies to you, and they do, but so does Jesse Water. Easy to fact check the above. Just google the first sentence.
