Both extremes have lost the moral ground to use words, since they have become so disconnected from reality and coherent action. A record number of GOP women were just elected to Congress in 2020, increasing the number from 13 to 35. Jeffries is spinning, but it is a spin spiraling down, leading to failure in 2022 with GOP regaining House, and most likely the Senate.   22.  @atulkumar2465  I'm an empiricist and skeptic, but the impeachment articles in the American constitution are not a scientific method or framework, it is all about opinion and conjecture, but ultimately, about a consensus of "feelings" and "belief" by a majority in the Senate. Ken Starr, in his response to a question from the audience, referred to the articles of impeachment as being "lacunate " meaning deficient or inadequate, which is true. As a tool, it is imperfect, and should rarely, if ever, be used. i agree.

  23.  @mjc42701  Sure, don't attack facts, attack the person. Impeachment is unfair and ambiguous, and should be rarely used. In this case, it is being used to overturn an election by a partisan majority in the house worried they will lose in 2020. If they had a strong candidate for 2020, impeachment would be moot. The Dems need to take responsibility for their loss in 2016 and self-correct, not blame Trump.

The act of "Talking" produced the very act which brings us here, and created the tool for doing so. Talking, then doing, then assessing the doing through talk, gives us the greatest good for the greatest number. Both talking and doing require moderation and some framework for assessment. That's what I got out of JBP.

The select Senate Committee that took out Nixon, with GOP Senator Goldwater carrying the water to Nixon, is our best cast scenario. At this time, it is still electioneering by the Dems afraid of loosing 2020. There is no bipartisan support of "people of good will" to remove Trump. I am a registered Democrat in California. Let the people vote, it is little more than a 1 year away. You suffer from an emotional distortion if you think Trump is, as Hillary said during her campaign, and again a few days ago, a clear and present danger to America. Trump is certainly a narcissistic opportunist with a personality disorder, but his social non-conformance is not reason to remove him from office, and overturn an election.

Trump has put 4X as many federal judges into place as Obama, will win in 2020, and have 1 or 2 more supreme court appointments. That's the "clear and present danger" for the Dems, it's a danger to their vision of the future... but they are failing miserably to protect that vision. Ask yourself why. No conspiracy theories allowed. I am 47 years a Dem in California, about to register with the GOP.

It is our personal responsibility to at least attempt balance, and to sometimes resist the gravitons of entropy and chaos, but also to occasionally promote them. The dynamic balance of yin and yang, JBP often evokes the Tao. I watched as my compatriots were sure Obama was the Manchurian candidate and would order marshal law and not leave office at the end of his term. Now another set of compatriots are saying the same of Trump. I lived through JFK, LBJ, Nixon, and Ronald Reagan. I'm suffering, but not so much.

  44. Richard, not "alleged", Clinton acknowledged guilt, paid a fine, and lost his license to practice law, at least for awhile. I don't care about Ken Starr delivering this factual information. He is correct, the impeachment process is an ambiguous tool that should only be used when it is a "people of good will" decision made by a bipartisan majority, as it was with Nixon. We are far from that with Trump.

  46. I voted for Trump, and feel none of those things. I believe the hypocrisy of the Democrats, a party I belong to, did not deserve the win. And in fact, Trump earned more votes in 2020 then he did in 2016, and narrowed the popular vote gap in 2020, doing better against Biden than Hillary. That cannot all be explained by your definition of "Trumpsim".

  47.  @antomin1709  I am 66yo, and getting my 2nd vax on March 26th. Trump announced today everyone should get the vaccine, it was Dems who were against the vax when it was the Trump vax. I am a radical moderate Democrat in California. My city government, all Dems, failed to get me vaccinated, but the marketplace worked, and I was able to get an appointment at CVS. Your rhetoric is far from "moderate".

I think his choice of Christian archetypes is just pragmatic, since he mostly communicates to people saturated with stories from the bible. JBP is complex because he holds an ethical value to be as thoughtful and precise as possible, to be "high resolution", but I get what you are saying.
