  15.  @bcollins8494  I disagree, California is not overpopulated nor is "Climate Change" having an impact. The ENSO runs the weather in California: El Nino/La Nina. This oscillation existed before humans arrived, so did the Winds. The Pacific Palisades was built in the 1950/60s before new fire codes in place. Recent fires in Santa Clarita did not claim homes because they were built hardened to fire. Some houses there are a new poured concrete tech. The insurance companies are very happy to insure those, and are starting a special program to help build that style of home in high fire hazard regions.
