The President also has the power to issue executive orders, which can influence law enforcement priorities and policies. Additionally, the President can grant pardons and reprieves for federal offenses. The AG is under the President, so he is the chief of the AG and can fire him.

The President's AG heads the DOJ, the AG reports to the President. The constitution is the highest law in the land, and the President does have enforcement powers.
