  6. Wow, this post-State theorists support a Westphalian concept of a bordered nation/state. Syria negotiates a peace treaty with Israel as Jordan did, perhaps I'd agree with you, but the Assad regime did not, only a cessation agreement.

  7.  @shareika  HaHa, go an try to enforce that "international" law. Turkey has occupied Northern Cyprus since 1974. Why the double-standard? International law considers the Turkish occupation of Northern Cyprus to be illegal. The United Nations Security Council has passed several resolutions calling for the withdrawal of Turkish forces from the island and the restoration of Cyprus' sovereignty1. The Republic of Cyprus is recognized as the sole legitimate government of the entire island by the international community, except for Turkey. The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), declared in 1983, is recognized only by Turkey. The United Nations and other international bodies do not recognize the TRNC and consider its territory to be under Turkish occupation2.
