I think you are correct. It's been reported that a drive through the State shows almost no Biden signs, but many for the other guy. If Wisconsin and Pennsylvania go Red, and AZ holds, done deal. I'm a California Democrat voting for Trump. I don't mind that no one speaks to me any longer.

@ralphbernhard1757 It's still a one in a million chance. And by race, a white person is more likely to be shot. We can talk gun control to get that "per 100,000" down to other Western countries, but that's a different issue. I'm all for debate, but on facts, not the delusion of mass murder based on systemic racism. It's a kind of science denial, which is richly ironic, but then we humans are that.

What is your motivation for this distortion? Typically it takes six-months officer training which is academically and physically challenging. Courses cover such areas as driving, weapons training, public relations, and law. Recruits also learn Spanish, self-defense, and report writing, and are exposed to the basics of many advanced law enforcement areas such as air support and the bomb squad. Academy graduates are considered probationary officers and are assigned to patrol under the supervision of a Training Officer for a one-year period.

I agree, and it is also unreported that after full scale attacks by the Media, Academia, and the Professional Politicians, not to mention Covid-19, Trump's numbers remain equal or greater than 2016. Any objective analysis would deem him one of the GOAT. I'm a registered Dem in California, if you can believe it, but can differentiate optics from action and content. But perhaps that could have only happened in Costa Rica, Don Pepe did not have much luck stopping the dictators surrounding you. @mikeboydus Los Angeles Police Department requires a total of 18 months, with ongoing training after that. There's a one year probation period. After Rodney King, the Federal Government created new standards for training as part of a Consent Decree. We are not the Wild Wild West, that's just for TV.

@ralphbernhard1757 No, no, that was true systemic racism, it existed, and did until the civil rights act of 1964, and subsequent laws both written and upheld. But the "War on Drugs" fell on my head in 1975, as I was convicted of Felony possession for sale with cultivation, and had the LAPD lie in court about the arrest. So, that was not a good place to start for me. What about you, ever arrested on a drug charge? Of course, my felony is now legal, mostly.

@mikeboydus America is demographically quite different. The per-captia numbers between those two events make it clear it is not even close to the same scale. The vast majority of Americans are well off and have too much to loose with an uprising of equal size to Egypt. What you are seeing is for TV. I live in the Los Angeles area and very few people are even aware of what's going on in Kenosha, or really care that much. I was in an area that saw fires and looting after George, but my personal experience, and what I saw on TV were quite different. Don't trust DW, source your own facts. I was in protests during the 1960's, marched with 50,000 people against the Vietnam War, this is nothing like that time.

Don't take it too seriously, small potatoes, U.S. has 300 million people, these protests and riots are only a few hundred, but the video keeps playing over and over again, it's an illusion. Home sales in the U.S. are up, the stock market is back to same level it was at end of 2019, even with Covid, and dollar is still the standard currency for the world, and no other economy is close to challenging that. You believe what you want, but those are the brute facts.
