Hamas is active in Judea and Samaria. There have been numerous reports of Hamas militants operating in these areas, engaging in various activities, including establishing terrorist infrastructure. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and other security agencies have conducted counterterrorism operations to address this threat.

@supersapiencirca1983 like Turkey in Northern Cypress? The Oslo Accords, specifically the Oslo II Accord, divided the West Bank into three administrative areas: **Areas A, B, and C**. Area A is under full Palestinian control, Area B is under Palestinian civil control and Israeli security control, and Area C is under full Israeli control. The Accords did not explicitly grant Israel the right to remain in the West Bank indefinitely, but they did establish a framework for Israeli presence in certain areas.

@supersapiencirca1983 Turkey's presence in Northern Cyprus is widely regarded as an occupation by the international community. In 1974, Turkey invaded Cyprus following a coup d'état by Greek Cypriots aiming to unite the island with Greece. This led to the division of the island and the establishment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), which is only recognized by Turkey. The United Nations and other international bodies have called for the withdrawal of Turkish troops and the reunification of Cyprus. The situation remains a contentious issue in international relations.

@Twoblues1235 Double-Standard of behavior will not bring peace to the region. ICJ did not "instruct" anything, they issued an "advisory opinion" which has no jurisdiction over Israel or the US, nor other Arab states like Iraq. Why the double-standard? The International Court of Justice (ICJ) issued an advisory opinion stating that Israel's presence in the West Bank is illegal under international law.

@supersapiencirca1983 It's not "whataboutism" when Turkiye is a major player in the conflict with Israel, especially what's going on right now with Syria and the former HTS. The ICJ did not "direct" but made an opinion that has no mechanism of enforcement. Many do not agree with the opinion. You apparently do.

@supersapiencirca1983 They may be "illegal" but it is only a charge/opinion. In most civilized countries the accursed is innocent until proven guilty. Is Israel allowed a defense of its actions?

@supersapiencirca1983 Turkey and Syria do not recognize the ICC, neither have signed or ratified the Rome Statute. Neither has Egypt or Yemen. Lot's of "running" by your standard. Iraq has neither signed nor ratified the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC). Interestingly, Iraq was one of the seven countries that voted against the adoption of the Rome Statute in 19981. Although there was an attempt to accede to the Rome Statute in 2005, this decision was later withdrawn
