@alexmost166 Most unaware of the temporary mandates after WW1 designed by the League of Nations, thanks, the video didn't mention it. The French Mandate for Syria and Lebanon ended in **1946**. During World War II, both Syria and Lebanon declared their independence, and French troops eventually withdrew from the region in 1946.
