@Eaglebaby331 Syria never signed a peace agreement, is still technically at war with Israel. Syria and Israel are technically in a state of war. While there hasn't been an official declaration of war since the 1973 Yom Kippur War, the two countries have ongoing tensions and have engaged in military confrontations over issues such as territory, particularly the Golan Heights, which Israel captured from Syria in 1967. Various conflicts and skirmishes have continued over the years, contributing to the ongoing state of hostilities between them.

@davereynolds3403 cut and paste. Again, the Lebanese Army should have maintained the sovereignty of its own land from terrorists and not force Israel to take responsibility for the lack of response by the Lebanese.

Has Hezbollah been active for 15 years in Lebanon, yes. Is Syria still technically at war with Israel? Yes. Does Israel fly over neighbors they have peace treaties with, like Egypt and Jordan. No.

No, you don't understand the international legal definition of proportionate: "Proportionality: The anticipated military advantage must outweigh the potential harm to civilians and civilian infrastructure." Israel is in a fight for its very existence against a force who've declared the goal of their total destruction.

@jebbo-c1l "settlers"? what do you mean.

Follow the money all the way to Iran, and then the US. Thanks Biden/Harris/Obama

@happymelon7129 Israel leader is desalination technology and does not require this water.

Hamas?

@davereynolds3403 Lebanon has an army known as the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF). The Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) has an estimated strength of around 70,000 active personnel. The LAF also has reserve forces that can be mobilized when needed.

Israel has seven desalination plants providing the majority of water to Israel. They are self-sufficient. Stop the taqiyya.

@happymelon7129 I don't doubt water is a contentious issue on the West Bank for strategic reasons, but Israel does not need the water because its "dry", that's false.
1
@happymelon7129 WEST BANK Over-extraction and mismanagement of water resources can lead to environmental degradation, affecting both communities. Israel is key to this management. Water resource management is often included in discussions around peace negotiations, highlighting its importance for sustainable solutions. Water is a strategic tool for peace. Water is plentiful, Israel has the resources to supply its PEACEFUL neighbors, including Jordan.

You've been saying that for 2000 years, not working, and I remember the same rhetoric from 1967 to 1973.
1
@davereynolds3403 It was Lebanese responsibility to end Hezbollah as a military in the south of their own sovereign land. They failed.
1
@davereynolds3403 The LAF needed to rid their own sovereign land of Hezbollah and did not.
1
@davereynolds3403 Lebanese Army had the responsibility to take out Hezbollah and did not. They left it for someone else to do. Shame on Lebanon.

@happymelon7129 Israel's seven desalination plants are expected to provide 85–90% of the country's annual municipal and industrial water consumption which currently provides up 65% of its water needs. Stop the Taqiyya.
