  8.  @trumpetmaris  It did not all flow to the Delta, otherwise I agree. Only about 25% of that water goes into the system that feeds SoCal. Tons of ignorance on that subject. There was plenty of water to fight LA fires, even the Pacific Ocean. The Stone Canyon Reservoir was full and LA had captured billions of gallons in rain runoff in the prior two years.

  15.  @sendthis9480  The Mexica/Aztec invaded the south and colonized what is now Mexico City 800 years ago. There are other tribes in California other than the Tongva. They lived in disparate small villages and never comprised a nation/state in modern terms.
