Issue in Mexico is a lack of rule of law in civil matters, especially when government officials take bribes and move in and out of the Cartels.

US deposits are 10X larger, it's the Chinese who want the deposits in Mexico.

yes, the red strip on the marine uniform symbolizea blood spilt in Mexico.

We should have annexed Mexico in 1850s when we had the chance.

Really, it's the Dems training Ukrainian fighter pilots in F-16s here in Arizona.

In Mexico, too, paraquat on marijuana fields in the 70s and DEA for cocaine in the 80s, I was there in Jalisco just before the shooting started.

"From the Halls of Montezuma", and the red strip on Marine pants is the symbol for it.

??? What Mexican history did you read? Listen, Dems want an open border so Mexicans can pay into our Ponzi scheme Social Security system which will fail about the time Mexicans come of age. If not for the US money sent back to Mexico by illegals, the Mexican economy would collapse. The cartel "war" is a side-show of a side-show. "Woke", yeah, right.

You have to bribe local officials just to work in some areas of Mexico, and government officials move in and out of the Cartels. The Army personnel is paid so little some act as paid hitmen, in the 1980s a contract was about $5,000. I left.

Nonsense, I was living in the state of Jalisco in the mid-1980s and the DEA was there undercover, an agent was killed by the Cartel, there's even an Amazon series online about it. We also sprayed marijuana fields with a dangerous herbicide back in the day with US money and helicopters. Obrador knows all about it.

delusional, we supported the Afghanis in their war against Russia, and it's the Turks and Russians now in Syria. Libya still has slave markets and bombed a 747 over Scotland.

@Feedergang ? We won the Mexican-American War in 1847 and sent an envoy named Trist to negotiate annexation, which he did for Texas and California, but there were others in the government who pushed for more, especially in the North. We could have paid off Mexico's war debts, France would not have invaded, and perhaps our own Civil War could have been avoided, as Northern Mexico would have been a safety valve for the issue of abolition in the South. Did they stop teaching this stuff?
