  1. This area in North LA County is a regular burn area with few structures. Santa Clarita was mostly built in 1980s with new fire codes and brush clearance requirements. We won't see many structures burned, if they are, will be out buildings. Relax.

  2. I live in the area, these fire/wind events are normal since before humans arrived on the land. The plants and animals adapted to them more than 40,000 years ago.
