Romans wrote sarcasm on the walls of their latrines. Man walking down Roman street sees old friend and says, "I thought you were dead"? His friends says in response, "As you can see, I am not", the man then retorts, "Yes, but the man who said you were dead is more reliable than you".

If "Slave Trade" was illegal, why did Britain make it illegal and only enforced that new law in 1807. USA did the same in that year.

The Eugenics Education Society was renamed twice: the Galton Institute in 1989 and The Adelphi Genetics Forum in 2021. It is still with us.

Summer of 1969, Woodstock and Charles Manson, too.

Wayne and Stewart were friends, both worked for John Ford, also a war vet, in "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance". If both Ford and Stewart were okay with it, what you think is of no concern in comparison.

@eadweard. Eugenics, as defined, is the improvement of the human species through selective breeding. Sperm banks advertise and promote "high value" heritable characteristics. There was even a lawsuit filed by a lesbian couple claiming they were lied to about the sperm used. Eugenics. Planned Parenthood is also an organized form of modern ideas and values of Eugenics.

Angela Collins and Margaret Elizabeth Hanson filed lawsuit against sperm bank employees and the donor. Collins and Hanson alleged that sperm bank talked up the donor, saying he was smart, healthy and mature. They say in the lawsuit they later found out the donor is schizophrenic, dropped out of college and had been arrested for burglary.

@JohnJourdan8 Lindberg was refused service but gained employment in the aircraft industry that tested planes in battle conditions during WW2 where he did see combat, but not as a serviceman.

Hedy Lamarr is mostly myth invented by actress Susan Sarandon. For the real woman mathematical genius of WW2, do a bio on Elizebeth Smith Friedman, who cracked hundreds of ciphers during her career as America’s first female cryptanalyst, successfully breaking up a Nazi spy ring across South America during the 1940s. Hedy Lamarr is only a WOKE Hollywood propaganda piece, Friedman is the real deal.

Least known best film: "Seventh Heaven" 1937

Sounds like Twain, he'd be right at home with the other privileged celebrity BLM supporters.

RAF??? The icon for the video shows a B25 with an RAF rondel, not the "Stars and Bars" rondel used on the raid? The *Royal Air Force (RAF)* did fly the North American B-25 Mitchell. The RAF operated several squadrons equipped with the B-25 Mitchell

The patent was never used in WW2 nor later, and others, like Nikola Tesla asserted the same idea years before, so this story is all BS. Should have gotten into her convictions for shoplifting, much more interesting story.
2
Most sperm banks are highly LGBTQ+ friendly, as lesbian women comprise nearly half of their business. This is modern "Eugenics". Do a show on that!

@noth606 Yes, the patent was never used in WW2 or later, and Tesla asserted the same idea years before, so this story is all BS.

@wildbill47304 The patent had expired, I believe, and while the Navy was aware of the patent, which was not written by her, but a 3rd party, they did not use it in the action you reference. I have nothing against Lamar, just the motivation of those attempting to create a myth around her. Why? Why inflate this far beyond its substance or reality, if not for the social and pollical context of 3rd wave feminism. The more substantial contribution of women in WWII were the WASPs.

@wildbill47304 A mural of Hedy Lamarr was painted on the side of a business by my city. It's expressed purpose was to celebrate women in "science" and motivate little girls to get into STEM courses. The myth of her as a scientist was first perpetrated in a play "Hedy", then the documentary "Bombshell" was made. It's almost all myth, and modern WIFI doesn't even use frequency hopping. The patent was not for the idea of "frequency hopping" but the mechanism, which was based on "piano rolls". Marconi, in 1899, talked about "frequency-selective reception" to minimize interference, and in a patent filed in 1900 by Nikola Tesla. A form of selective frequency was used in both WWI and WW2. Susan Sarandon is party responsible for this myth making after she did research on Hedy for a part. This is a Full Woke Hollywood invention. Why did she never invent anything else?

@wildbill47304 Here's the real genius woman hero of WW2: Elizebeth Smith Friedman

The Genius Sperm Bank was created in the late 1970s by Robert Klark Graham, an American millionaire optometrist. His aim was to breed highly intelligent people by getting clever men to donate sperm.

@MrSimonw58 Yes, but you could not not purchase one from outside the USA. An act of Congress passed in 1800 made it illegal for Americans to engage in the slave trade between nations, and gave U.S. authorities the right to seize slave ships which were caught transporting slaves and confiscate their cargo. Then the "Act Prohibiting the Importation of Slaves" took effect in 1808

George Bernard Shaw was a member in the 1950s, after WW2. DNA is far from being "pseudo" science, and the basics of this science has led to the recent creation of mRNA vaccines in defense from mutating viruses.
1
@Biographics The civil rights activist WEB Dubois and naturist John Muir were supporters of "Eugenics", so were nobel prize winning scientists like Robert A. Millikan who made Cal-Tech what it is today. Wokeists removed his name from my former Jr. High and replaced it with the name of a man who didn't finish grade school, was addicted to drugs, and committed bigamy. You are guilty of the Woke art of Presentism.

@purgatorysfinest He was a college grad, could of went in as an officer, I believe. A hero, no doubt, and good friends with John Wayne.

While not an actor, the top gun in WW2 was ball player Ted Williams, and then again in Korea.

@TheDanEdwards Yes, please take the meta-Marxist seriously, they represent the new theocracy insinuating itself throughout our culture. The power of story sans-fact and truth.

@Mecha82 Enlightenment values transcend the 5 senses. Be curious.

Worse than that, the first known use of lycée did not occur until 1865.

Eugenics – meaning ‘good breeding’ – was coined in 1883 by Sir Francis Galton to describe ‘the science which deals with all influences which improve the inborn qualities of a race’.

Eric Cline good online source, and tells of civilization collapse around 1200 bce

@eadweard. I quoted an article from a Fertility magazine, that line was not mine. I should have put it in quotes. Google "most sperm banks are highly LGBTQ+ friendly, as lesbian women comprise nearly half of their business" - FertilityIQ You made an assumption about me based on this quote from a Fertility magazine. I had nothing to do with it. "Offering desirable characteristics" does not just "sound like" Eugenics, it is the science of Eugenics.
