@shkodnick Yes, this is an attack piece on JBP who has stated many times human influenced climate change is real but the available data is not sufficient to make predictions 100 years out, the error rate is too high, and that's not just him saying it. but many scientists and statisticians, like Bjorn Lomborg. My question is WHY the hit piece? Argue the merits, not the person.

@stefanbernhard2710 Not sure what you mean, however, the Rogan exchange with Peterson was not good, and I didn't watch all of it. It was a boring as watching a tennis match between a pro and a child. Peterson and Lomborg have rigorously studied data sets, and clearly the "error rate" of climate change models, which project 100 years out, is significant and should not be denied. If we want the greatest good, for the greatest number, we need to rank prioritize by cost/benefit and act in accordance to that data set. No question CARBON has been weaponized by anti-Capitalists and that extreme view should be pushed back on. Dr. James Hansen, the father of Climate Change Science, has made it clear Next Generation Nuclear must be in the picture, but the anti-Capitalist don't want it, so his voice has been cancelled. Very dangerous. There's a windfarm in Mexico which has polluted the ground water because of the deep concrete piers needed, and the water no longer flows to the fields of indigenous people there, they are suing. How ironic.

@TheCommonS3Nse Don't use the edited clips here, listen to a long-form discussion with Bjorn Lomborg and Peterson for full context, and statements are far from "vague", but systematic and verifiable, and so are Lomborg's. Rogan has a different audience, and this round with Rogan was not good, so with that I agree.

@TheCommonS3Nse Peterson does not say the problem is not real, but the error rate for predictions 100 years out is too high to make such Draconian policy, and other data also needs to be considered, not just climate data. Watch Peterson's discussion with Bjorn Lomborg and the framework for rank prioritizing problems to optimize the greatest good for the greatest number in the next 100 years.

@TheCommonS3Nse NO, Peterson, and Bjorn Lomborg, along with others, have absolutely made recommendations on how to raise people out of poverty. Educate Women and lower the cost of energy. Doing those two things will drastically change world culture and shift focus to preserving the environment. Again, watch JBP with Bjorn Lomborg, it's all there.

@magsmags5255 Rogan gave Trump a platform he also offered Harris. Trump could have ended his chances in that three hour interview. Harris helped to end her own chances by not appearing on Rogan under the same terms as Trump did.

@tariqjoseph3562 Not "too complicated", just saying the model does not have enough data to predict 100 years out, the error rate is too high for the prediction to have value. The signal to noise ratio too high argument has merit, and even applied to predictions NOAA makes about weather like La Nina/El Nino, something I care about and watch closely, those models are better, but often not very good predicters. @kfjw Feedback loop between biology and human culture, moving in both directions, does not require social or linguistic interaction, but only interaction between humans and the process of evolution. Peterson talks of Lobsters and the effect of serotonin on human hierarchies. Don't argue with me, it's his assertion, so take it up with him. But that's the answer.
