  1. Polar Bears have been protected from hunting for decades and numbers are stable since that protection.

  2.  @sandyallen1523  I've seen the same stories, and it makes common sense to "think" so, but then I checked the data. Over all population is stable, some areas decreasing, others increasing, and even the Polar Bear advocates only say "global warming" may cause issue in the future.
