  2. Haidt is not religious in that way, I've been following him for awhile. It's in the data. Humans are wired for shared ignorance, willful or not. You get the same kind of mythology at the corner bar where they all support one sports team. All tribal affiliations gather around stories and myths.

He handed it to PacBell and other monopolists who moved in and bought up all the bandwidth. That's when the neo-Robber Barons took over, I was there, being part of some of the early IPOs in the late 1990s, most of whom have crashed. I grew up in the 1960s, the Beatles were a manufactured pop boy band, in 1964 you could buy Beatles notebooks, Beatles clothes, there was even a Beatles cartoon show on in the afternoon after school, and they sold Beatles style baseball cards. Yeah, think again. My generation was flush with money and the capitalists went after it. Disneyland opened in 1955 and Mattel's Barbie came out in 1959. I had a Ken doll in 1963. My dad threw it out the car window. LOL I just wanted to play with the girls, not be one. Sorry Dad.
