Not a fan of JD Vance but 2024 is Trump, the RNC convention was about Trump, and Trump gets the win with or without Vance.

@adahn1876 Real Clear Politics aggregate polls are my goto. Detroit Free Press, a left wing paper, polled Trump +7. Biden was ahead at this time in Michigan 2020, Trump in 2024. Even with a 3.3% MOE Trump wins.

@spinfrost McCain never had a chance against Obama, little to do with Palin or VP pick. Professional politicos know it's not a big vote getter, but can bring in money. Vance can counter biased news interviews and defend the Trump/MAGA position very well. As a Marine, he was a combat correspondent, same position Al Gore once held, and Vance excelled at Yale Law. I don't like him, he's not transparent, but will do well on the campaign.

@adahn1876 No, too far out for reliable MOE prediction. Late August polls will be more accurate. The Sunday poll was used by Dems to convince Biden, not me.
