  8. Gaza is a little more than half the size of Singapore. Singapore already had a culture as a broker/trader region. It also has its own ethnic issues with Chinese. Gaza would need an economic base, hopefully beyond just tourism. There's a huge natural gas field off the coast. I believe that is the key.
