It was called Palestine then, a territorial, temporary mandate. If you lived there, you could get a passport from the British that said "Palestine". I'm a Zionist, a Jew in America. The rhetoric that says a region called Palestine did not exists is not helpful. However, it's clear the current definition of a Palestinian has more to do with Soviet era propaganda in the 1960s than anything else. Also not helpful for a two-State solution, something many Arabs have resisted since even before WW1.

  41. The US is not a signatory of the Rome Statute so never officially supports either ICC or ICJ. Palestine was not a nation/state, but a former region of the Ottoman Empire, then temporary mandate region of the Allied Powers after WW1, when partition was created, just like Jordan was in 1946.

Quran writes Jesus did not die on the cross, did not shed blood, and was not resurrected, and that Allah was the "Best Deceiver". Did Jesus submit to Allah and become a Muslim, the Quran writes he did, Islam allows believers to lie to non-Believers, it's called al-Taqiyya. This is a poor foundation for trust between peoples.
