  1. English is hard they say..... and I am yet to encounter any bilingual (or more) person who will confirm this. The closest I was a bilingual person who found English difficult was a Chinese exchange student. ... Yet, they only knew English and Chinese and did not attempt to learn any other European or African Language and Chinese is, very obviously, extremely different from any Western language.

  4. I think that every Slavic language is harder than English in terms of grammar rules, spellings and pronunciations. The only reason why English might be harder is because many native English speakers know less English than fluent-speaking foreigners.
