I feel this quite a bit. I am a foreigner living in England for few years now (came when I was 13) but I kept very strong roots to my home place. I find it weird how many ready meals are in British shops. The closest I have ever been to a ready meal where I am from was a frozen pizza, which frankly isn't very common too because there are restaurants at every corner 😂. But even then, as I live at dorms, it shocked me how little people cook and know about cooking or even how poor their taste is (in terms of variety). Fries everywhere.... Why... They aren't even good when you have them more than once a week let alone everyday 😂 it's sad. The other weir thing is when we go up a hill. It is a fairly steep one but it isn't that long and everyone gets out of breath so easily.
