And mote were planted and grown. Yeh yeh it involves chopping trees but it doesn't pollute air, water and ground whilst in can more or less be easily regrown.

You farm them. Tree farms aren't uncommon, at least in Europe, can't speak for the us.

@CUBETechie It's callee Glulam. But it doesn't have to be just glued, really you get that effect with any mass timber. Just throw a chonky block of woof into fire, it still takes forever and sometimes can't even burn at all unless you do something to it.

Then don't farm monocultures? It's a bit out there to know that if you put bunch of organisms of the same kind together they will get ill.

The reduced CO2 is trapped in the wood. Trees, like us are carbon based life form after all. Thus, the co2 stays inside on the wood even when used in construction. Take coal, it only releases c02 when burned, otherwise. It is just trapped co2 in old wood.

It's more fore safe than normal concrete and steel as mass timber duced Charchoal layer that protects it from fire. At the same time unlike steel it doesn't expand, thus no collapse.

😅 i mean you have tgis thing called tree farms which essentially started in Europe at least in 18th century. Take the Habsburgs. Maria Teresa pretty much made an order where an extreme amount of forests were planted for the empire in the future.
