  1. The Norwegian churches seem similar to Eastern European churches and there is similarity to Pre Viking times. Similar materiality too. It's suspected that it's due to them stemming out of pagan architecture which was a bit more fluid and there were "Wintery" reasons to build such building unlike in... Rome
