Population growth means economic growth.... The problem is that economy cannot be rising for ever

I would rather adopt thank you very much. There is enough hungry children in the world that have no parents and i have no problem loving them as my own. Very sad considering coca colla can reach 99% of peole in the work bit drinkable water only about 75%.... Plus with the climate change, which i have observed my self over time and felt its harsh effects... I don't dare to bring a kid into thus world to see then the destruction that will just accelerated from now. Every year they measure new highest temperature in many nations... Take Canada, they got new highest temp almost every year and this year it went up to 47C... In Canada. Whilst they get hot summer... Not that hot. Same goes for my home country...

Quite interesting to hear that as because from every single of my straight peers (everyone 😅 as I have no gay friends even tho i am gay) there is only two... What for a 21 yo is long term relationship. (Year and more) The one couple had been together for at least 3/4 years and they are the only ones that are likely to get kida as the rest doesn't want any. The rest struggles to find anyone. I am am in a happy relationship, although it's been only about over 6 months, we are both happy. I have been told by my peers before being in a relationship that from everyone they know, I am most likely to be that person who will just end up with someone for ever.

When I was 9 i came to the conclusion i never want kids of my own, but I'll adopt. I still do... I am just still young to do so and so financially not able to. .... Unless the recent jumps of autocracies will kill me for being gay

@warrenbuffet5152 well... Depends which parts you call good in the bible... Some parts are very subjective.

Stress.... And yes financial part too. You see unlike in the past, there is far more contraception and emphasis on family planning. People are more aware of what it takes to raise a child and if they ain't doing well, they don't wanna kid to suffer because their parents gave no money to provide roof above their head for them... At the same time the amount of pollution and emissions have been lowering sperm counts. Many are also aware of the global issus and see beyond their borders unlike their parents before them. Thus due to issues such as climate change they don't want kid.

I love life and i am not ritch. I am just disappointed in the society sometimes but life it's self is beautiful to me. But hey... I grew up in small city with mountains and forests all around me.. Yet i don't wanna child not because i don't want them to experience life but because i am in no position to care for a kid.

@love__and__hope__ lets not forget about the other expenses such as housing, energies, educational equipment, entertainment, trips ext. I don't even mean Hollidays abroad by trips. I don't wanna kid until i can make sure that i can spend time with them whilst not being financially ruined due to that time. It would not be fair to them as much as to me. Stress for me, lack of a parent in theirs...

@theeggtimertictic1136 this age has different issues than the past. Most are aware of what is more than likely in their future in aspect to global stuff which the people of the past didn't.

Very much for me too but also human rights as I am gay... (Adoption) I just cannot imagine raisins a kid in a world on fire... Despite being Young i have already observed enough of a shift with my own eyes to be terrified.

@warrenbuffet5152 I might be 21 but i agree that many people of my generation are terrible when it comes to money. I would say it's because they were molded into consumerism whilst i never cared for material gain as much... In terms of items. Not to say that many things do not take the piss thought, especially in regards to housing.
