It is always a clever move of governments to make high end, high education jobs low payed.... You can be passionate such as you want but you will not do the job of you get smacked on ground every day from physical and mental exhaustion.

@FleurPillager there are different levels and forms of ptsd and forms of. I can't say what is correct but i doubt it's the image of PTSD most people get.

@tre Depends on the country I am afraid. Some doctors where I am from make about 30k a year and nurses about half ot it... Before you say someone is clueless, at least ask them to say why they say so..

Not surprised. I got extremely done over this year just by uni getting lower grades but doing mornings till late nights every day.... Left me absolutely shattered, no conference and i was left with a fear of actually doing the work because of how horrendous it was... I was very passionate about it before... They actually had real people relying on them.... No wonder they got scared. Many people got scared too but it is bo surprise the medical staff is.
