Here where I a gay man told people that I want kids.. they ask why and I say: 1. So that I am not alone in old age, 2. So that someone can take care of me when I am old,3. So that I am a part of some innate community (wider family often is).
They said that's stupid and even evil. Then proceeded to school me regarding why you should have kids... Stating thing like affording to be able to go with them on Holliday's and so on as necessary.
It just seemed weird to me, and from those points on clear to me, that it's not even tied to being liberal or being LGBT or being a man or a woman... None of that matters as each and every group went on about money, then reflecting on their own struggles where their own parents were no enough- mostly financially...
To me that's weird. I am a Slovak and I grew up in largely very traditional family full of many catholics and military personnel (yet, neither care much wther I am gay or not- rare but they don't.. ). And even though I am a gay man, through their traditional mindsets (mixed with progressive views), even I still want kids and a family l, and aim in life "to be old grandpa that farms, gardens, helps with grandkids and all"... As I honestly don't see point in living and life without that goal.
I might get excited at the thought of travels, especially as I love vernacular architecture, folklore and love learning and exploring these cultural parts from around the world... But even then my mind wonders to "but what then when I am old?".
Even my damn catholic grandparents push towards me having kids, if possible (mind you), and they don't care if it's biological or adopted.

Me a gay man from Slovakia whom always wanted to have kids and family.
I did my degree and live here. I talked a lot with people my age (around 19-23) about kids. I mean a lot of us were at the end of Education, live was discussed, goals ext.
A lot of the time I was asked what reason do I have for wanting kids. ... Nothing was a good enough answer.
To not be alone when I am old is apparently bad and even rude, making me seem like someone needy and controlling. To carry on tradion (I was raised to understand nature around me, explore folk, arts). That was apparently too nationalistic (bearing in mind that I also like to study other cultures, their arts and traditions -by no means calling mine better than others). Saying to have someone to love and care for - too needy and selfish.
There just was no good answer.
To a certain Irony when it comes to relationships as a whole rather than kids. I was one of the last to be in a relationship, but many of them already had several. They often expressed frustration over the couple culture where cheating, people not being interested or Changing their mid was very frequent.
Somehow I was called, almost universally as the "person who is likely to get into a relationship and then stay in it forever". So far that's working out 3 years into a relationship. All the people I know already changed atleast one... Apart from a German girl with a Slovak boyfriend who were together for over 5 years.
- so I concluded that these is a strong overlap between what makes it right to have kids and then ... If you don't look towards having then , preservation ext... Your relationship goal becomes much more loose and less Couple Goal oriented.
The few couples that I know and we're indeed together for few years are the only ones that keep striving towards housing ownership, more so those who aim to have some kids.

I was never against the concept of Conscription. I am usually against specific parts of Conscriptions.
1. Gender equality, women should be included. They don't have to necessarily have the same training, heck they could have an option which kind they want to do. But they should have a form of it too.
2. I myself am a migrant (EU to other European country) and actively lived in my settled country since 12 (2/3 of the time in one, 1/3 in the other) and since 18 I spend almost all the time in my settled country.
For people like me, retrospective Conscription is not possible. Often it comes with a huge fine, or with a demand to return for a year... Quitting your job and leaving your family. I do not see any sense in such law for those actively working, residing and having a family abroad.
You may argue - you have the citizenship hence you must. But you cannot legally get rid of your only citizenship and it costs couple of thousands to get the citizenship of the host country... So you are kind of stuck.
3. The training has to be useful for both Wartime and non wartime times. Survival training is good, fighting is good but medical knowledge stays, emergency situation training stays, teamwork and cooperation stays. You are taking young people out of the national economy for a year/two. They deserve to be trained in such a way that it would benefit the wider population and economy even after their training, even if no war happens.

Several reasons.
1. Populism and misinformation scene. All o have to do is switch VPN from cz to SK and I get immodesty spammed by misinformation.
2. Economy. It's a labour oriented society
The country gets less investment because it's also in the West as so it's not cheap as a labour source, whilst also not being rich to have more advanced sectors.
3. You either have Populists and pro-anyone-but-mainstream or you have very Yes-EU commands, Yes-Nato commands left parties which concentrate on the modern far left issues (usually common among high end educated people) rather than concentrating on the Workers Left issues.... In a labour-oriented society. So majority feels ignored and rejected - making populism even more catchy and appealing due to it giving attention.
4. Historic fears of ethnic death. Be it historically Austrian Germans, then Hungarians, then Germans, and then Czechs a little (dominated by Prague), similar pressure is felt from the side of EU and NATO especially when federal EU is discussed.
This may sound counterintuitive given that Russia is trying to conquer Ukraine. However, the first Republic already joined NAZIs with the reasoning that if they do not they would be... Given to Hungary and split like Poland in 1700s. So basically, when there is a threat of being ethnically eradicated by someone, the nation runs to the other side... Sometimes being a pink pong ball between two countries that would do the same thing to it. (It's part of the lesser self though, which is not uncommon in other eastern European countries).
5. Accumulated issues. Brain drain doesn't help either factor, but is also caused by many. It's essentially a negative feed loop making the country stuck in lower secotrs, whilst also making it more ethnically disappeared.
6. In all honesty the government is so lose that it basically lets anyone steamroll over the people, itself and the nation. Unlike Lithuania, Finland and so on.... There are many small day to day factors that make people feel like the ethnicity is being attacked.
From shop goods named in English (labels like peanut butter instead of native Arašidové Maslo) and a large number of younger population actually using slavicized English words in day to day speech make large portions of the population see Slovak disappear... Which is then made worse by misinformation and populist fear mongering. Especially as these little things are then combined with issues like LGBT or abortion which has a support of the youth but not so much middle aged and older. This again makes it feel for many that these individuals are brainwashed by the West and are adopting their customs, languages, ideology and so on as much as the other side thinks of the pro Russians as brainwashed and wishing for nostalgic days.
The only thing that was actually better around the 90s than today or the years before 90/80s was that Slovakia actually had a fair autonomy and sovereignty. USSR half dead did not drown it and no politicians were just blindly following some foreign ideas and rules, be it EU, NATO or the USSR. Yes quality of life improved but that's not what they concentrate on... It's the actual say SVK has, the sovereignty of it and it's uniqueness.
The fact that these culture wars are one of the largest destructors of Slovak ethnicity as a whole is really saddening.
Hence only wishing that a balanced government that would take visible control and stance towards making Slovakia Slovak - labels, language, support and promote some more Slovak art and architecture so show that YES, IT'S US, SLOVAK and not just a copy paste of... Austria, Hungary, Germany, US or Russia in different forms would be the best. Then they can actually support left ideas regarding LGBT and others because they would have the trust of the population. So... More like Finland, Estonia and Latvia and Lithuania.
But so far... It's just a country the size of Baltic States with No One in charge that would pilot the Slovak Plane.

@ShoulderMonster I find ethics and exotics as normal words, which, atleast everywhere I've lived, were uses as normal words with no means of segregation. Everyone here (UK, which is also his native place) knows that everyone is a part of ethnics group. For the word exotics it simply refers to a language, object, animal or a person (although extremely rarely on a person) who/it is from a place foreign to the place they are now or not common to that place. For English its Lennon's, Arabic, kimono.... Fir Japanese it would be English, Brasilian nuts, Elephants

I don't think that would work out well for the monarchy (though we till never know).
Part of my recent research was observing and analysing the rise of socialism and democracy during 19th century (they were closely interlinked) and what i can see from it is that Industrial societies indeed had a push towards the "left" Because of the extreme wrongs it was doing to day to day people. Death, pollution, noise, accidents, housing crisis in urban cities, rural depletion in the country side.
One can see why Marx thought it would be industrialised society like Britain, not pre industrialised like Russia.
But really it was because whilst industry caused issues, it enables a lot and the British Parliament was weary of revolution... Hence you see them being 'kinder' through means of services, societies ext... Developing into democracy.
But pre industrialised Russia already had extreme amenity/quality of life issue which they didn't solve... Then war broke out and the stabilised UK managed but destabilized Russia fell because of the discomfort and poor conditions of the working majority.... Hence all work related stuff was made central, as means of production, now enhanced by communist industrial efforts, could provide amenities..
But... They instead just provided a war warehouse and corrupted central power... So it fell.
So really what the Tsars needed to do was simple... Provide for people. Get schools, clinics, parks ext. Prepare for the industry which is booming in the West... After all you have the advantage to see it's problems before you start...

I feel this way to deep being Eastern European in Western Europe... Britain.
It's weird for me to see people compare the gypsies to black people in the US. I come from a country which is one of the top in the world, has an extreme equality index by any measure. There is little gun violence and almost no incidents of police killing or abusing them. The state frequently gave them newly built housing blocks which then got destroyed by the people who lived there. Then promoted miriad of different ways to give them housing such as Build Yourself - materials and skilled help free. Most of the issue spans from lack of education for many reasons - not just provisions but refusal by the people themselves to gain primary education ext. It's a complex mess but a very different one to US.
Also due to its commie past and post Imperial oppression mindset (the nation was oppressed by another ruling ethnic group)...
The old are leaning to Russia due to the commies, whilst being bad... Being the first to care ... A little bit but not that much (they seemed to be good because they redistributed wealth that was already here). They reject US due to Imperialism and cite ... Beside conspiracies actually some sensible points such as Cultural conversion, Forced ideas ext. Whilst the way they put it is BS. The concepts of these lies is in truth.. that there is such influence and that it comes here like a big packaging.
At the same time I can see why the young often abandon the older, traditional stuff seeking western benefits... But they abandon everything from traditional symbol, car for the land as a nation, alter the language faster and faster over time. Start to see our history through US lenses.
Eh .. there was a Gu of our ethnicity whom managed to get a noble title, learn languages, get big so today. Make his way into French imperial government and administration system which was extremely racists agains any foreigners including us, managed to become administrator in Madagascar ext.
A lot of great achievements... He gets called enslavor and that's the end. No strive for determination. The folk hero whom stole from rich and gave to the poor is just a thief. All of the religion and traditions around it are bad.... And so on and so on.
This split is then overlayed by another US export... Trumpist Populism and boom. You have a country split 50/50 pro Rus and pro US.
I think both sides are somewhat idiotic and personally I would chose progress with adapted tradion. Adapted tradion is still Ours, it's still unique to us, we can relate to where it came from here and what our current values are. A thread that ties this society together. After all what does not adapt dies, what adapts too fast might undergo either a shock or just become something completely different from the original... Which basically is death of the culture.

Ironic honestly.
When you look at sci-fi or any well perceived functional world which people would pick to live in and or inspire real life by ...
They are always culturally diverse. Start wars or Mandolorian? Look at the architecture and their clothing first... Very neo classical but also futuristic. Same for star trek- the exploration and meeting people of such varied cultures. Heck, the most popular "alien" race are the ones that are the most Classical in cultural appearance and even philosophy of life (Vulcan, Romulan).
Whe we imagine the world of horror and future... It technologically there, but polluted, filled with exploration and cold metal, sleek but dark. People dressed modern but usually poorer...
What o mean to show here is that Entertainment can reveal a lot about ourselves. Whether it is US, Korea's, Europe or China.... The moves and costumes as well as world building and architecture that are always popular are the "classical " ones.
Korean dramas are on rise set in mediaeval and classical Korea, or else heavily inspired by it. Same for China. US and Europe with said Start Wars, Game of Thrones, Lord of the rings.
Entertainment is a seekers game. People like what they see and they seek it in return.
What's ironic is that even when we have Apocalyptic movies or TV shows which kill most humans on earth... The survivors rarely Rebuild.... No.... They almost always form a Neo-Classical sort of societies with district art, architecture, folk and even stories....
And even if Futuristic, the Classical/Historic inspiration prevails such as in Marvel Universe.
It such a common similarity shared across so many cultures and nations that it does beg you to stop and entertain the idea of WTF Humans actually desire as their Urban or Societal Environment.

@mitonaarea5856 I'm the context of history:.
Germanic tribes migrated out of the region, slavic tribes settled there. Replacing the population.
Afterwards, Germanic people conquered, assimilated and crusaded the region, whilst gradually resettling and mixing with the Slavs on the region.
Later Prussia, an originally Slavo-Baltic but akin turned into Germanic through conquest and crusades became pomôcke of East Germany.
Hence, whilst yes Germanic people were in the region prior, they moved out and were replaced by Slavs. Afterwards, the Germans gained the territory back but didn't replace the population, they assimilate it and culturally conquered it. Largely akin to how Franks ended up giving name to France and Italy basis in culture and Politics, but most of its population remained Latin and celtic.

Being a foreigner from a traditional yet liberal upbringing (gay)I was always told by my peers that I seem like the person who would get onto one relationship and that's it.
I did get into one and I am still in it. Meanwhile my pool of sexual partners was always low.
In many ways I am a very conservative person (in terms of values, tradition... Not your idea of economical and liberal or Capitalist conservatives ---- to me the conservatives would be Commies) but as a gay guy I am liberal and so is my family. They value the old family values and structures without their underlying gender norms per say. Eg. Bringing a boyfriend for a Christmas dinner is a big deal for us... Not to my Western friends. Meeting their whole Family is a big deal for us... Not to western friends.
There is still an expectation to be a parent even as a gay person (which would actually be near impossible where I from) but not to my Western friends.
I know my upbringing was different as it's liberal side was obviously not the countries norm.... But as someone who comes from an ethnic nation state... My traditional upbringing was that much more around due to my families keen interest in traditions, out ethnic history and development ext ext. In a patriotic way (not nationalistic- you don't spread it, you celebrate it).
So quite often I get stuck in the questions like : why kids? Why aim for marriage/partnership ext ext. With always having "some ridiculous answers" such as " so that when I am older there will be people around me whom I know, they know me, I love them, they love me, so that we can spend time together, so that I can pass on history and take joy out of their joy, to have someone to keep me on my feet and someone to keep my brain spinning whilst we explore nature and environment around us".
That's apparently ridiculous, selfish and unrealistic reasons to have kids I get told by every peer.... Yet it's litteraly the only thing that you do when you have a good relationship with your parents and grandparents... As what better reason do I have to have kids than to have them and to let them be the way they are whilst spending time together?

Just about religion. My opinion is that Religion ( a fully followed one) is a bad thing as is very rigid and dangerous, yet spirituality is very important and many religious people are more spiritual than religious.
I guess I can more show what I mean by examples:
You believe in something that doesn't effect world (at least directly) and brings you comfort and joy (eg believing in god, afterlife or other) I feel joyful for your spirituality. This is your truth which is and isn't real because it cannot be proven in any way but it also doesn't matter whether it is or isn't because it does't force the world to move in certain way.
If you believe in something (similar as above) with other people as a collective and as a collective you have a common tradition I also feel happy for it, and if I may I desire to be a part of your tradition at least once to experience the collectives and traditions can bring. (doing things with people, whether it is BBQ, party, pray, running, singing connects us and strengthens bonds.... I mean why would we be friend if there was nothing that connects us)
Yet if you believe in something that makes you reject everything around when it doesn't align with this faith I can;t help but feel sorrowed for all that you miss out on. (this is the most religious idea, imagine someone following bible to about 75% of its content)
(don't even know if I am making any sense to you, the stranger in the comment section of a quite unrelated video topic)
I guess I arrived on my views after going through harder parts of my life while being occupied with nihilistic thoughts (at the time... mainly)

You know whats is amazing? I am migrant to the UK, i work for a council and i love my job. I want councils to be well, ran well and serve the public well. It's a pride in ones own serviceand work sort of attitude.
Despite not being British, i get a lot of heart-felt joy from seeing the success than councils had, and frustration due to their decline caused mainly by ignorance of those who could do things - but didn't ask whrther they should or why for yhe long term.
Also.... The rules regarding behaviour used to be very harsh to the point that they would not be seen as acceptable by most of the public. They would be seen as very right wing policies.
Even the idea of having certain estates with clear and steicter rules and some without (like now) is percieved as segregation and far right idea.
Yet, it works, and it doesn't have to be based on gender, race, religion, age or sexuality. Simply work or a history of behaviour.
I am a lefty. Gay, migrant, work in public sector and i want things sustainable. I am not afraid of certain harsher policies if they are carefully implemented.
I believe that councils should have a way to limit who they give housing to, and where. This is jot possible because of the severe shortages on all fronts - but ideally there would be estates that are well, mid and thise who are for necessity. A form of a ladder where ine can aim to climb socially in-between.
Thought careful as this may create economic black holes in areas of depravity - so each such estate would need it's own specific amenities and services to supprt it. A well of estate might need a school, a park and a gp surgery or a shop... Meanwhile a "routger" estate should have directly amenities addressing education suport, financial learning, clubs for kids to help them not be anchored by their parents (if their parents aren't good enough)

Nerd and Gay. The most commonly associated slurs (and their synonyms) with knowledge of history, classics, art (objectively based art) as well as sociology and the stems.
That's what I was called out for as an Easy European migrant by my peers when I moved to the UK. Granted, the area was not the best, yet it was hilarious to say "oh dear, the empire has turned into wine hating barbarians". (As in my 20s no Brit liked to drink wines, especially red and dry)
Well. In the end 3/4 of the school failed but not me. At least my undying calmness reactionlessness made them give up on any form of bullying. I eventually became known as a "social butterfly" as I was able to walk between the "camps" and get along with the lads, the gals, the nerds, the Popular Inteligencia camp (I wasn't in it) as well as with the disabled and slow kids (I always had a caring nature). Became the most liked and helpful and they actually listened. Not that I made many long term friends but people recognised that I never had any alterior motive, and I wasn't playing around. They actually relied on me as a Neutral State hah.
Same repeated in college minus the bullying and again at university.
Btw. Whilst you did state "teaching 6 year old kids who don't know what sexual attraction is" is somewhat true... It's also somewhat not true.
Be it not 6 but rather 7/8. By the age of 8 every kid knew what sexual attraction was is school as Sex was not so taboo to hear about in eastern Europe. Obviously the only knowledge was when there was elsex on TV, knowing or being told how kids are made and that you may be a parent one day too was normal at that age.
Heck. The boys even searched for porn because it was the "forbidden fruit" and talked about it.
As a result, by the age of 8, I was knew with strong clarity what my sexuality was.

@torment4723 I was referring to Daoism but nevermind that.
I find hard to understand the point you are trying to make about the language.
Is is very simplistic and far too detached from reality i find.
What is the point of a language which tells you where you come from?
It is very rigid, static and leaves no room for exertions and loops which are found in everything.
What about a child whom grew up adopted with parents speaking a different language?
What about bi or multilingual nations?
What about those who grew up speaking many languages because it's 21st century and many just do.. Not even language's of their neighbouring nations but just a foreign one.
What about the many slaves, colonial or not, that were moved across vast distances only to never return. But they had children, and so did theirs and so one. Thus few generations down and the native language is gone.
Your idea sounds nationalistic. Bot to any specific nation per say, but in the pattern. It is the very epiphany of it really. Nationalism, or a praise and will to do stuff for your nation, stuff like going to war. Be it religion, race, language or governmental differences.... It doesn't matter which.
It picks a point on which it assesses whether one of "one of us, or one of them" And tries to justify it by means other legal citizenship.

Policies like there are what prevents extreme right wing (Nazi like) rhetoric from happening within the country. The native culture gets preserved and made mandatory within its own native border.
As a foreigner I get eyes and people questioning, or see people question foreigners coming in somewhere, when there is a rise in a group that simply ignores the native culture and language.
However, I know the native language, the natives are fine by default.. in fact, it makes it easier to talk about my own native thing with them, when to learn them my Language (few words and all) or try parts of my culture.
A firm assimilation strategy is always good within the natives own land.
The issue here is that the liberal and freedom policies and mindset is largely developed out of far west and the US. Where, natives were made to assimilate to the foreigners, and the word assimilation is used even negatively. Eg forcing native Indians to assimilate to US. But that's against the natives so by the rule of freedom and liberalism, the assimilation (even as a word) is seen as negative.
Not to mention that it prevents Colonialism too, from outside, as no outside government will throw ethic or linguistic reasons to invade or occupy the country... ... An argument which often makes the observer larger countries, agree with the coloniser... Just as with Germans and sudetenland.
It too also protects democracy, as large foreign groups tend to simply and naturally consume their own native media, which within a democratic nation makes them sway the native politics towards that of their own home nation.
That is, if they do not assimilate, as assimilated individuals still consume their own native media, but also consume the native one. Thus also keeping a balance, but also not falling for the imperialist or dictatorial rhetoric of their native government. Thus keeping a clearer mind and picture, and protecting the political structure from wanna be dictators.
Meanwhile, it prevents dictators from getting elected by the natives, as they tend to like foreigners whom show such respect as to learn the language. Preventing the rise of right wing populism within the natives... And this once again, safeguards democracy.

Interesting.
I grew up very traditionally in extended family. They are all very traditionally minded people but simultaneously are progressives. I am gay, they don't mind, they still want me to have kids (they just, some of them, partially turn their head when they realise it's gotta be adopted- but they go "oh well"). I am talking about an Eastern European Slavic traditional family with many in the military, many catholics (actual church goers), and a fair amount of elderly including great grandparents, siblings of grandparents, my grandma's aunt....
Yet... They don't care much for race per say (if you marry someone non white it's fine, just raise your kids with the home culture in mind- even when you live abroad, just so the kids are aware). They don't care for me being gay... They still want me to have kids (they actually push my Gay brother to accept himself because he is tooo religious and does not accept himself... Litteraly you have 70+ old catholics that go to church tell a 30yo man to judge shut up, accept he is gay and move on.... He won't)
I want kids, always did, and I knew I was gay since age of 8/9.
I moved to England and when we talk about kids with anyone... The answers are exactly as you put it. It does not matter if they are gay, or straight individuals or couples... The answers is exactly as you put it.
There are few women I know (we are all around 20-25) and these women are some of the few that actually are in a long term relationship. Most are non British (but moved here before the age of 10, thought visited home often), but some are British. These women actually want kids. When in their late teens they said they feel really weird urge to have a child, they could not explain too much why but they do. They are some of the few women whom seem firm on staying in one relationship even if it's not always peachy. And as they grew older (me included) we all started to give up on this child-having goals to some extent. Mainly by concentrating on provision on housing, and by lowering our desire for the amount (one said 5, then jokes about her v*** after, not she wants atkeast 2.... I went down to atkeast 2 too). But the urdmge is still there.
Btw... With me, and it's strange and I dno how to describe it. Being a fairly conscious kid (both of my environment and of myself). I figured that I am more attracted to men somewhat simultaneously with my desire to adopt. I wanted to be a father iné day as early as 7/8 years old. I have also figured I am gay around 8/9 years old.... And I have never gelf any desire to have my own biological kids and always felt the urge to adopt instead. Like... I was 9 and I already decided I do not want my own but to adopt.... Weird, but why not. I just sorta thought that well if I am gay (as I only fully accepted it around 13/14) the. I suppose the urge to adopt makes sense biologically rather than to reproduce on my own.
... Only later discovering that many animals that do show gay behaviour do seem to have a tendency to adopt.

I don't see the need for this law, as it so far seems very general to the point that it covers things that indeed are restricting a gay person. What i mean is that sex education being moved from schools to parents is fair, so is a stare assigned Sex Educator for schools if needed but I do believe that within that education should be homosexuality mentioned as part of that education relates to sexual health. That doesn't include much more than mentioning that the use of protection is required by homosexuals as well due to potential stds, just like heterosexual intercourse and that it isn't just pregnancy prevention. I truly do not see any harm in a mention like that, it doesn't promote nor push anyone into being gay.
As for the Television, it bans the appearance of any gay person on TV, including any TV show character or advertising. From my point of view, Children's tv shows are fair enough to ban over if there is this concern. For advertising I mainly agree. I think LGBTQ themed products and changes in packaging during the summer (such as Ikeas atrocious "Bi Flag Support" Sofa or Skittles packaging) should not be on tv and advertised. I even find those kind pf products/advertisements harmful to LGBTQ as many are just made by companies for profit, but advertised purely because of their "support value",,,, that is just annoying to anyone but it is the ordinary gay person that minds their own business that gets the blame for it a lot of the time which isn't fair.
And as for the general TV regarding movies or tv series than i see no reason why not, on an occasion, have a gay person in it. It doesn't have to be a flamboyant character like many people think all gays are. But I do mean for TV aimed at people over 15/16 whom at that age already are self aware for the most people. I say that age as that covers any form of TV be it an evening movie or some drama series.
Lets face it, TV like Friends, Komisar Rex, Game of Thrones, Interstellar or Martian are aimed for older audiences, that is the kind of TV i mean when I say i see no point in restricting having a gay character in.
So I don't fully disagree with the law, I just find it broad and with that unnecessary covering areas that don't affect children. If an argument for the TV is that the kids will watch it as long as it is available than that statement would oppose the law its self as the parent, as stated, is responsible for ensuring the child won't watch it if they, as a parent, do not want (as simple as turning the tv off).
In case you are wondering I am gay my self, but i don't do parades nor buy any items related to LGBTQ, and many of those advertisings in support just piss me of as much as anyone anti lgbt.

UK: correcting school time from 9 am to 10 am.
My home country: 8 am.
to be fair i didn't really mind it because when being little from first grade (age 6-7) up to sixth grade but I see why later it would be a bother.
I moved to Englad after 6th grade and starting at 9 seemed lazy to me whilst most people classmates seemed to know less about maths, history , geography and sciences .... perhaps because they didn't have a full humanities and sciences split yet.
:D this helped me learn English incredibly fast.... I knew the science knowledge what they were learning already and I saw the pictures but i didn't know the words. God bless that one Science teacher, She saw that I knew what was going on just couldn't express it so she gave me time to think about the words and even wrote a table of words for me.
...
overall it wasn't that bad but there are things I would change, like gcses ... why do most schools spend 2 years leaning towards them and not just have their content woven into the full education? I mean... in year 8 we didn't have history nor geography we had humanities.... who in the world thought that is a good idea. It was dry and content less subject which could have been spend better by teaching pupils how to read maps, learning about countries and cultures and how languages and cultures spread. There you go.... a mix go geography and history which would later help both subjects. Instead we were not learning but playing with making house models of our dream houses whilst map reading was taught last during gcses and many people struggled (I found that incredibly odd as it essentially is just following a lines from top and sides and using a key) and where what lies was expected but again most people weren't sure half the time.
... that subject was an absolute abomination and I do hope it was just a school exception. :D Thank God I liked geography and history whilst having it since grade 3.
It is a bit sad that history was so lacking in content since GCSE history covers medicine and wars but not culture and change. It was funny but sad when my Architecture Lecturer asked "Has anyone ever heard of Mesopotamia?" and only me, a girl from Germany, a girl from Roumania, A guy from Honk-Kong raised their hands but no Brit did. It was a lecture hall with extreme Brit majority. Sadly, the lecturer just said "Thought so".
Other subject that didn't work was French. I mean, 2 hours of French a week is nowhere enough for a language subject and lets end it there.
On the other hand, I really liked the Product design lessons as they was completely new and practical. It was a welcomed hands-in learning and relaxation whilst having the joy of making something some solid than a card. :D I really liked when we could laser print and metal cast.
Also art, ohhh yes. Art was pretty much a free and forgotten lesson where I was from. No one ever takes it seriously unless you go to a specialised school. Having an actual, consistent coursework was a huge boost to development they helped me see the change i my work over time and even helped me peruse my dream career of an Architect.

When the man said that USA as a country would not make an impact due to China's emissions I was in disbelief. USA is one of the largest countries in the world and one of the leading countries in terms of emissions, on it own their change would have a massive impact.
What more, as someone from a smaller country, the climate change sceptics here are making a similar argument but instead of china they say America. They do say America and not China despite their knowledge of China's emissions because of China extreme regime system. The competitive government of china is far to into the competition to reconsider their impacts but america could slowly change laws to shape the need for saving the world whilst still creating a huge job opportunity.
I mean... make people recycle by law. First, extra taxes if you do not recycle plus you make a new job role of people who check f it runs as it is meant to, people who collect and handle specific waste, people who will be in research to deposing of specific waste.
I mean,,, if you were to take a huge corporation their impact would be very large withing the nation. They are likely to become more popular to the modern consumer and if their competition was not recycling, they would make more profit by not having an extra tax.
