@mortisnoctu It encouraged 'former' slaves to flee North where they would automatically be emancipated. He had no jurisdiction. He had an effect. I expect the same from this. Obviously Putin has a Minister of Child Abduction . He featured her in one of his "Historical Russia" speeches. They delineate his plan and rationale for a Soviet Reunion. It is good of Trump and DeSantis to give this tacit support by opposing Ukraine.

Well do they have a Minister of Child Abduction or don't they? Are they stealing children or aren't they? Are they torturing civilians or aren't they? Do Putin's speeches about "Historical Russia" portend a Soviet Reunion (meaning an attack on Poland) or don't they?

@mortisnoctu BTW Trump has been briefed on at least two of Putin's speeches about "Historical Russia" during his term in office. He knows what is in them. I'd say the fix is in. Trump is throwing the election. DeSantis too.

@jimmierustler4887 You missed the part about Poland next. We might as well do it in Ukraine as long as we are in NATO. Because Russia intends to drag us in. Don't worry. China and Russia are friends. It looks like China is doing a military build up across from Taiwan. They both want war. We should be prepared.

@st3pp3nw0lf86 Supporting the Reforming of the Soviet Empire (Putin's "Historical Russia' speeches.) is very sound. Poland and the Baltics will love it. We are allied with them. We should love it. Poland is showing its love by doubling the size of its Army. BTW Charles Lindbergh was on the wrong side of WW2. His career and 'America First" Never recovered. I'd rather not watch a repeat live and in real time.

@jimmierustler4887 Charles Lindbergh and "America First" did not survive the start of WW2. Supporting Germany killed his political career. Watch closely. A lot of people are not paying attention. Putin's Soviet Russia Rerun = Nazi Germany. Due to previous and possibly future mass murdering. Among other things. When it was called the Soviet Union Republicans understood and Democrats didn't.

@Melkor54 I am not aware of a Ukraine Ministry of Child Abductions. The Russians have one and the Russian Minister of Child Abductions, Maria Lvova-Belova, was also indicted. This will be used against all Republican political figures not siding with Ukraine. You know who sides with Ukraine? Mitch McConnell. LOL. BTW Look at what not being against Germany before WW2 did to Charles Lindbergh once the War started. The playbook has already been written.

@Dunge0n Well that particular opinion doesn't get much press. Who ever is running the show is going to do a Charles Lindbergh on Trump. Discredit him for supporting the wrong side. And since Trump knows about Putin's "Historical Russia" speeches - all you can say is that he is cooperating with his own demise. DeSantis is doing the same. Why?
