He is very pragmatic about most everything except the Drug War. He wants to fight the cartels harder - which means supporting them. Because if you don't want cartels you legalize. He knows that. He said "legalize" at a 1990 awards lunch.

  40.  @MTGHedgefund  First off - medical is a States Rights issue. So the decision was correct. Without an Amendment The Feds cannot regulate medical procedures. The Federal Drug War is illegal. Second off - his limit is 3 months. So policing is not intrinsically invasive.

No one has complained - so far. Drs are licensed by the States and an Alcohol Prohibition Amendment was required. We are missing a Drug Prohibition Amendment.
