  2. I have a very revolutionary position for you. Stop persecuting people in pain. Federal Drug Prohibition means addicts can't be treated with drugs. Support of the Black Market is 80% of the homeless problem. Addiction is a symptom of PTSD says Nobel Prize Winner in Medicine Eric Kandel in his book, "The Disordered Mind." Drugs fill receptors. What empties receptors (injury, PTSD) causes a desire for drugs. Drugs CAN'T cause addiction. Pass it on. ---- Republicans LOVE persecuting addicts, because according to the Government, unlike normal God fearing citizens, addicts brought it on themselves by taking drugs without government permission. If only they had listened to the Government. ---- Dr. Lonny Shavelson in his book "Hooked" said that 70% of female heroin addicts had been sexually abused in childhood. We are persecuting abused children.
