  5. It is the Party of Abused Children and Abusers. Perverted sex and drugs are the usual outcomes of child abuse. We put very little effort into root causes. A lot into the resultant crimes and bad behavior. Which makes for good reading (if you like that sort of thing) and not much else.

Not personal choice. That does not mean lowering our standards or dismissing bad behavior. It does mean stopping our stupid war on pain relief. They need it.
