  3. Actual American policy since Trump and doubled down on by Biden is decoupling America from China while Europe is now decoupling from Russia. China wants Taiwan? After America moves semiconductor production out of Taiwan, China can have it. If China can take it. Given the Russian experience with a corrupt military, I'd say that is now off the table as long as American arms are available. Buying back American arms pays back some of the money Americans spend on semiconductors.

China promising to destroy world trade by attacking Taiwan has rattled the Americans. A very smart move on China's part. Well thought out. America intends to destroy China's world trade first.
