@owenbowen1090 The other crime is a hypothetical. No one has even been charged. So at best a misdemeanor. But it is a State law applying to State Elections. - No Case. - Why is Trump's team letting this go on? He/They are playing you. You are focused on the case. He/They are focused on the election. @MrBadassc8 Yes he is. Of a NY law that only applies to State elections. And the predicate case which makes it a felony is a hypothetical. No one was ever charged. Let alone convicted. Winning. Well except with a NY jury. That is why we have appeals courts. I think there must be a reason Trump's lawyers are not making every effort to stop this ASAP. It helps him in the polls. @quarkybill Well if Arnold could do it and it wasn't a crime and Rahm Emanuel as well. What makes Trump doing it a crime? He paid too much? Running for office? Seriously? Don't you have to cite a law? Buying silence is not a legit campaign expense? He paid his own money for it. Don't worry. There are a number of points on which this case fails. Your point could hold up and it still wouldn't matter. And how about the GSA shipping pallets of classified documents to Mar-a'Lago? That is going to raise Trump another two points in the polls.
